It only seems fitting that I'd post something on thanksgiving.
But the truth is...
There is so much that I'm thankful for, I can't even begin to talk about it.
and that is what I'm thankful for.
for having so much to be grateful for... I am so lucky.
What are you thankful for?
Take a minute. Think about it.

People.
I'm grateful for those around me.
The amazing minds who can bend and mold words. The ones who let their soul seep through their fingertips in writing, in dance, in music. In holding another's hand. In a simple gesture.
The people that I'm surrounded with who make me smile and laugh until it hurts. I bask in their brilliance, and wonder how I could ever compare.
Then, I remember something that Maya Angelou said: I am human, so I know everything that is human.
If someone is cruel and hurtful, I cannot turn a blind eye and say that I could never do that.
Because they are human; so am I.
Yet this also opens doors for greatness- any wondrous achievement that is done by my peers, can be accomplished by anyone else.
We have the potential, the possibility, the chance to be something great.
And you all remind me of that.
I find it so fascinating that if we had all met years before where we are now, we wouldn't have looked twice- just walked in the other direction. Now? We can't be separated.
Held together by the power of words, the power of dance, the power of love, the power of life.
The strength of a shared passion holds people together stronger than any two hands can cling.
For you all, I am eternally grateful.
